影片讲述了Kenny Rodgers Royce honors his late mother's legacy by following Dead and Company's final tour with his film crew, dog Lily Pad, and ex-hippy stepfather-documenting every wild moment along the way for his blog. 《摇滚之夏》这部剧的收视率还不错，但是口碑总体来说一般。网络褒贬不一，《摇滚之夏》在某瓣的评分还没开分，不过热评里面大部分几乎都是吐槽。小编自己也看了这部剧，Zeke·F·Carlton·III,Paul·Stenerson,Ashlee·Buchanan还是演的挺好的。
